The derivation algorithm is hard-coded in the client application and is identical across every installation; it contains a hard-coded secret key for entropy. Because the only input (the server name) is not secret - the instance suffix is hard-coded and the host name is discoverable via the SQL Server Browser service (UDP 1434), the TDS pre-login response, or DNS/NetBIOS - any party able to reach a Jumis SQL Server can compute the password offline and authenticate. The ##Tilde_JumisAdmin## login is a member of the sysadmin server role. Successful authentication therefore grants full administrative control of the SQL Server instance and read/write access to every customer's accounting database hosted on it. The on-premise server installation also programmatically enables xp_cmdshell during routine operation, so sysadmin access escalates to operating-system command execution on the database server.","score":9.8,"severity":"critical","published":"2026-11-06T14:09:15.360Z","modified":"2026-11-06T15:21:25.878Z","withdrawn":false,"knownExploited":false,"affected":[],"products":[{"vendor":"Jumis Pro SIA","name":"Jumis","platforms":[],"versions":[{"version":"0","status":"affected","lessThan":"TJ7.0.141.36","versionType":"custom"}],"defaultStatus":"unaffected","cpes":[],"source":"ENISA","url":"https://www.cve.org/CVERecord?id=CVE-2026-59105"}],"remediation":[],"references":["https://offseq.com/en/research/jumis-cve-2026-59105/","https://www.mansjumis.lv/"],"sources":[{"name":"CVE","id":"CVE-2026-59105","modified":"2026-11-06T15:21:25.878Z","url":"https://www.cve.org/CVERecord?id=CVE-2026-59105"}],"assessments":[{"source":"ENISA","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":9.8},{"source":"ENISA","vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":9.3}],"sourceAffected":[],"observedAt":"2026-11-06T15:29:00.903Z","kev":{"status":"not-listed","checkedAt":"2026-11-08T03:05:30.801Z"},"coverage":[{"source":"NVD","status":"no-result","checkedAt":"2026-11-06T14:30:36.240Z","attemptedAt":"2026-11-06T14:30:36.240Z"},{"source":"GHSA","status":"no-result","checkedAt":"2026-11-06T14:30:36.136Z","attemptedAt":"2026-11-06T14:30:36.136Z"},{"source":"EUVD","status":"no-result","checkedAt":"2026-11-06T14:30:36.840Z","attemptedAt":"2026-11-06T14:30:36.840Z"},{"source":"EPSS","status":"no-result","checkedAt":"2026-11-06T14:30:36.274Z","attemptedAt":"2026-11-06T14:30:36.274Z"}],"evidence":[],"aiSummary":{"text":"Jumis versions before TJ7.0.141.36 use a deterministically derived password for the ##Tilde_JumisAdmin## SQL Server login, which can be computed offline by anyone able to reach the server.
