When handling a received cyclic data frame while the consumer is in the FRUN or RUN state, the offset of the APDU status was computed as the frame length minus 4 using 16-bit arithmetic, without checking that the frame is long enough. A crafted short frame makes the offset wrap around, so the function reads outside the receive buffer. This can cause a crash (denial of service) or disclose memory content.","score":7.1,"severity":"high","published":"2026-10-29T15:42:29.115Z","modified":"2026-10-29T15:42:29.115Z","withdrawn":false,"knownExploited":false,"affected":[],"products":[{"vendor":"RT-Labs","name":"P-Net","platforms":[],"versions":[{"version":"0","status":"affected","lessThan":"1.0.3","versionType":"semver"}],"defaultStatus":"unaffected","cpes":[],"source":"rt-labs","url":"https://www.cve.org/CVERecord?id=CVE-2026-111735"}],"remediation":[{"text":"Upgrade to P-Net 1.0.3 or later.","source":"rt-labs","url":"https://www.cve.org/CVERecord?id=CVE-2026-111735"}],"references":["https://rt-labs.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/RRTL-261019-01.pdf"],"sources":[{"name":"CVE","id":"CVE-2026-111735","modified":"2026-10-29T15:42:29.115Z","url":"https://www.cve.org/CVERecord?id=CVE-2026-111735"}],"assessments":[{"source":"rt-labs","vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:A/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":7.1}],"sourceAffected":[],"observedAt":"2026-10-29T16:10:36.230Z","kev":{"status":"not-listed","checkedAt":"2026-10-31T10:00:31.629Z"},"coverage":[{"source":"NVD","status":"available","checkedAt":"2026-10-29T16:25:41.136Z","attemptedAt":"2026-10-29T16:25:41.136Z"},{"source":"GHSA","status":"no-result","checkedAt":"2026-10-29T16:25:40.495Z","attemptedAt":"2026-10-29T16:25:40.495Z"},{"source":"EUVD","status":"refresh-failed","attemptedAt":"2026-10-29T16:25:40.834Z"},{"source":"EPSS","status":"no-result","checkedAt":"2026-10-29T16:25:41.985Z","attemptedAt":"2026-10-29T16:25:41.985Z"}],"evidence":[{"source":"NVD","id":"CVE-2026-111735","url":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-111735","modified":"2026-10-29T16:17:57.833","score":7.1,"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:A/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:X/CR:X/IR:X/AR:X/MAV:X/MAC:X/MAT:X/MPR:X/MUI:X/MVC:X/MVI:X/MVA:X/MSC:X/MSI:X/MSA:X/S:X/AU:X/R:X/V:X/RE:X/U:X","checkedAt":"2026-10-29T16:25:41.136Z"}],"aiSummary":{"text":"P-Net before 1.0.3 has an integer underflow in pf_cpm_c_data_ind(), causing an out-of-bounds read when handling a crafted short cyclic data frame, potentially leading to a crash or memory content disclosure.
