What this means
Amazon Redshift JDBC Driver versions before 2.3.0 may allow an attacker with influence over the JDBC connection URL or AWS credentials profile to execute arbitrary code, given a suitable class on the application classpath. The weakness is due to unsafe reflection in connection parameter handling. An upgrade to version 2.3.0 or later is recommended.

What to do
Compare your installed product and version with the affected versions above. A matching product name alone does not confirm exposure.
No structured fix or remediation guidance is available here. Check the full source description and vendor’s latest advisory for a patch or workaround; do not assume another version is safe.

Original source description
Read the full publisher description
Unsafe reflection in the connection parameter and credentials profile handling of Amazon Redshift JDBC Driver before 2.3.0 might allow an actor who can influence the JDBC connection URL or the AWS credentials profile to execute arbitrary code in the application context, provided a suitable class is available on the application classpath.
To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 2.3.0 or later.
