FreeImage before 3.19.22 Heap Buffer Overflow via IFF/LBM PBM RLE Decoder

Impact

FreeImage before 3.19.22 has a heap buffer overflow via the IFF/LBM PBM RLE decoder, allowing attackers to write controlled bytes past the heap-allocated bitmap with a crafted file. The vulnerability is due to a lack of bounds checks. Local access is required to supply the crafted file.
