Alpine iLX-F511 prh_sdp_service_search_decode Stack-based Buffer Overflow Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

Impact

Alpine iLX-F511 version 7.0.000 has a stack-based buffer overflow weakness in the prh_sdp_service_search_decode function, allowing network-adjacent attackers with paired Bluetooth device access to potentially execute arbitrary code. The issue is due to a lack of proper validation of user-supplied data length. An attacker must first pair a malicious Bluetooth device with the target system.
