What this means
SiYuan versions 3.6.0 before 3.8.7 have a cleartext transmission vulnerability due to an unenforced networkServeTLS setting, allowing network-adjacent attackers to sniff login flows and session cookies. The kernel port serves full API access over plain HTTP alongside HTTPS. This affects SiYuan 3.6.0 before 3.8.7.

What to do
Compare your installed product and version with the affected versions above. A matching product name alone does not confirm exposure.
No structured fix or remediation guidance is available here. Check the full source description and vendor’s latest advisory for a patch or workaround; do not assume another version is safe.

Public exploit evidence
The sources identify public exploit references. We have not independently tested them; their availability does not establish exploitation in the wild.

SiYuan 3.6.0 before 3.8.7 accepts and persists the networkServeTLS setting but never enforces it, so the kernel port keeps serving full API access over plain HTTP alongside HTTPS. Network-adjacent attackers can sniff the cleartext login flow and session cookie, which lacks the Secure attribute while responses omit HSTS, to hijack kernel API sessions.
